We then take impressions and make a custom-fit mouth appliance. You place the whitening gel in the appliance and wear for short periods daily for one to three weeks. Tooth whitening gel will only whiten natural teeth. It will not whiten, nor harm bonding, caps, crowns, bridges, fillings, or any other artificial dental work.
