Marcia Twomey
Dental Hygienist

Marcia Twomey received her B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland Dental School in 2006. Prior to her training in Dental Hygiene, in 2003, she received her certificate as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (cPhT). During her education at the Dental School, Marcia was selected in to the Periodontal Clerkship Program/Dental Hygiene Honors Program to further expand her skills in the specialty of Periodontics. In this program, she was able to work with periodontal residents and periodontal faculty simulating treatments in a private practice setting.  Marcia was awarded the 2006 Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler award for exceptional clinical skills.
