Worn Teeth

Worn teeth can cause sensitivity, and affect the bite and cosmetic appearance. When the bite is affected, it may result in Temporomandibular Joint and Muscle Disorders (TMJD).

TMJD refers to a complex set of conditions that can cause pain in the area of the jaw joint and associated muscles and/or problems using the jaw. Both or just one of the Temporomandibular joints may be affected. TMJDs can affect a person's ability to speak, eat, chew, swallow, make facial expressions, and even breathe.

There are several options for restoring worn teeth. Treatment options may include restoring the teeth with crowns, porcelain veneers, and bonding material.
